Alymer,a scientist stops all his expieriments for a while to marry his beautiful wife, Georgiana. Then one day Georgiana asked her husband if he thinks her birthmark is ugly and he asked her if she ever would think of removing it. She jokingly says no but then learns that he is very serious about it, this makes her upset.He then askes her if he can experient on her,she agrees because she notices how much he stares at it.So he does it and she ends up dying.

Sherlock Holmes is chasing down the Moriarity gang and they are trying to locate Holmes to kill him so he can get off their tail. Moriarity is killed when Holmes prevails in trying to throw Moriarity off the cliff. So, in revenge Moriarity's men. Van Moren has tracked Holmes down and has tried to kill him. So they set up a dummy dressed like Holmes, and Van Moren happens to walk into the house they picked to spy on him by coincidence they got lucky and take down Van Moren and Holmes for now is no longer in danger.
