The story tells that when a man/women get addicted to their job, they get depress and they get bored doing same job over and over and never try to get to the next step. Also this kind of people are always strict and they get mad easly.
It mostly implies that people that work too much are so used to the same process, and the everyday norm, that the tend to completely stray from their objective in the first place.
it means that people work so much in there life that sometimes they were work themselves to much. Which like in the censor book sometime people work themselves to there own life.
It sais that people get tired of the same routine each and every signle day and they sometimes what change in their life. But sometimes they just get really stressed and cant handle it.
sometimes when you enter a job for a specific objective and you get obsessed with that job you forget your goals that needed to be accomplished when that happens you cant stop thinking about your job...
In the story "The Censors" it is basically saying that Juan was a workaholic and lost himself in his job. He no longer enjoyed his life or friends because he became obsessed with his job. And lost sight of his real reason for being there. Workaholics don't necessarily take the time to enjoy the small things in life they are continually thinking of there jobs and what has to be done. One day they will wake up and wonder where the time went whether it be in regards to time spent with there child or just life in general. Remember to take the time to smell the roses.......
people who are workaholics, work them selfs to death. being a workaholic can be a terrable burdon working that much is not easy on the mind you become consumed! in the story it tells me that being a workaholic can acttuly kill you!!! ZB
