in the story the eyes have it the author shows that the state of mind of the protagonist is wierd and a lil crazy.he thinks that eyes are roming around the room.
In "The Eyes Have It" the protagonist is taking the book literally because he is crazy. When he reads in the book "he took her hand," the protagonist thinks her hand was literally taken off. When the story is explaining that people are looking at each other and their eyes are jumping around the room he takes it as their eyes are out of their heads and eyeballs are jumping around every where.
In the story, "The Eyes Have It," the narrator is taking the book he is reading literally because he is crazy. When the story says "he took her hand," the protagonist thinks that he literally took her hand off her body. Also, when the book explains that people were looking around the room and eyes were jumping from person to person, the narrator takes it serious and imagines actual eyeballs jumping on people.
Narrator state of mind in "The Eyes Have it," seems to be gullable for the fact that he believes literary terms word for word. The audience knows the book he is reading using personification of body parts yet he believes that the body parts are infact alive.
The narrator is obviuosly very paranoid and doesn't have enough on his mind. So when he picks up this paper he begins to read. Right off the bat he begins taking the letter way too literally, in the end, his perspective still never changed.
the narrator is a very paranoid man an does not have in since of a brain hes really a crazy lunatic. The audience knows that the bodies not really moving at all its the terms he uses in it to make it seem like that
In the story the narrator is portrayed as a paranoid man who feels like earth is being invaded by aliens. He imagines that all the people he knows are actually aliens.
The story "The Eyes Have It" the protagonist shows that he is really paranoid and crazy. He takes the book he is reading too literal and freaks out about every little thing.
In the Eyes Have It, the reader found a book and began to read it and he was the type of guy that believed everything that he read, saw, or heard. He showed signs of being mentally disturbed. And finally he couldn't take it anymore and he stopped reading. And this relates back to high school, alot of the people who hear rumors or drama going around believe what they hear. Which isn't a good thing to do.
This story just made me mad about how stupid the guy was that was reading the book. To take those sayings such as "loosing your head" and "gave him her heart" must take an idiot to think such a thing as another species.
I Agree with Boss Man AKA TMC, it's suppose to just be an interesting comic book but in his eyes he took everything so serious. He actually thought eyes were rolling around the room and hearts were being ripped out.
The Narrator in the story "The Eyes Have It" seems to be delusional. Clearly he is reading a story about a romance and he interprets it as an alien invasion. If you go back and read the parts of the story in italics, "his eyes moved from person to person...his eyes fastened on Julia....he put his arm around her. etc.... You can see where it is about a guy that likes Julia and he wants to have some type of relationship with her.
